Description

El castillo de Bracciano, donde vivió el duque Paolo Giordano II Orsini, fue la principal razón por la que la reina Cristina de Suecia se desvió hacia el oeste desde la Via Lauretana en diciembre de 1655. El duque envió cartas y poemas a la reina en Estocolmo desde 1649. Por su parte, Christina había prometido visitarlo durante su viaje a Roma.
