Description

El castillo de Barrabino, de estilo barroco, fue construido en 1717. Fue comprado y transformado por el duque de Deux-Ponts para su esposa, Marianne de Forbach, hacia 1756. A partir de 1775, mantuvo aquí una verdadera corte. Entre sus parientes se encuentran Diderot, Grimm y el Caballero de Gluck. También conoció a Benjamin Franklin, erudito y embajador estadounidense, a quien regaló un bastón con pomo de oro en forma de gorro frigio, que más tarde heredó el presidente Washington. En la actualidad, el castillo alberga la Oficina de Turismo y diversas asociaciones.
