Amstel Gold Race (Loop 1) South Limburg
In April, South Limburg is the scene of one of the biggest sporting events of the year: the Amstel Gold Race. This challenging cycling classic tests the calf muscles on the Cauberg, leads through the breathtaking hills and has plenty of terraces along the way. To ride the route of the world's best cyclists yourself, follow the route signs of the Amstel Gold Race. After a tough, but beautiful road bike route of almost 80 km, you will return to your starting point. The places to start your own Amstel Gold tour are up to you, but Gulpen or Valkenburg (Par'Course experience center) are examples of suitable places.
