The Hoge Molen is a polder mill on the Boezemkade in the Dutch Nieuw-Lekkerland. It was built in 1740 and belongs to the Kinderdijk windmills. The High mill functioned as an upper mill and milled the water from the low bosom to the high bosom. One of the two mills that milled the water from the polder into the low bosom, the Kleine or Lage Molen, still exists. When in 1966 the paddle wheel of the Hoge Molen was replaced by an auger and the mill could raise the water directly from the polder level, the Lage Molen lost its function. Since 1997, the polder has been discharging the excess water via an auger pumping station directly into the Lage Boezem of the Overwaard.
