Description

This statue of the "Maple Leaf" stands on the village street and is part of a group of three monuments. The Maple leaf is the symbol of the Canadians, who made an important contribution to the liberation of Otterlo.

A plaque reads:
AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN. AND IN THE MORNING. WE WILL REMEMBER THEM"
( in the evening and the morning we will remember them)
