The Broederpoort is one of the three Kamper city gates that remain. The Broederpoort is located on the park side at the end of the Broederweg. On this side there was no stone city wall but an earthen rampart to defend the city. The gate was moved to its current location in 1465. The original gate was located on the Kampen city canal the Burgel.
