We did this scenic route on 06-07-2023

The route is based on the local hiking trails J21, J22 and J24. It is 80% paved.

We parked and drove off from the parking lot of the Beidweiler cemetery. For the route we did not always follow the markings, but the roads are passable everywhere. We did the loop clockwise, so we first went up for a while and then down to the village of Eschweiler.

Beautiful views accompanied us from the beginning to the end of the road. RTL's three transmitting antennas dominate and can be seen almost over the entire route.

We followed part of the connecting road between PC4 and PC2 (bike paths) to get to PC2. PC2 consists of the former Luxembourg-Echternach railway line. In Rippig we could still see the old stop with a covered bus shelter.

While enjoying the beautiful view, we returned to the trailhead.
