Beautiful cycle path along the glacial lake of Marmolada with climbs to the Fedaia Pass, the Col di Lana and the Pordoi Pass. What Everest is to the Himalayas, that is, the Marmolada to the Dolomites. From the top you can see the Austrian Alps. No wonder during the First World War there was a lot of fighting between Austrians and Italians. An entire city in the ice was dug underground by Austrian soldiers. The Fedaia Pass, at the foot of the glacier, is regularly on the route of a tour of the Giro. More information in the book 'Pedalando nelle Dolomiti'.
