Description

The Church of the Rosary, located in the Vicoli Saraceni in the north of the city, was founded by a Jesuit and built between 1554 and 1664 .

In the early 16th century the Jesuits arrived in Sambuca. To eradicate superstition about the presence of ghosts, they collected alms and built a chapel . On the wall they painted the image of the Madonna della Scala or delle Scalille , which became a miracle.
