Palazzo Lazzarini is an old noble palace, still inhabited by its owners . The rear part, the oldest, dates from the sixteenth century and was part of the old Palazzo Perollo (famous for the "Sciacca case").
A great-great-grandfather of the current owners, the honorable Giuseppe Licata, mayor of Sciacca at the end of the 19th century, opened the Via Licata, which took its name from him, and added the entire front in pure neoclassical style to the original structure. What makes the palace unique and captivates visitors is the scent of the bitter orange trees in the secret garden created within its walls.
During the visit you can descend into the huge prehistoric caves , once used as warehouses and located under the garden, and into the "Scirocco Room".
