Ashford School is a coeducational independent boarding and day school in East Hill, Ashford, Kent. There are 480 students in the Senior School and 360 in the Prep School .
The school is owned and run by the United Church Schools Trust and is a member of The Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference . The current headteacher is Mr Mike Buchanan, who is Chairman-Elect of HMC for 2016-17. Mike Buchanan will step down as Headmaster of Ashford School in July 2018. Mike Buchanan’s successor will be Michael Hall. Michael Hall will be the Headmaster of Ashford School from September 2018, at the beginning of the 2018-2019 School academic year.
