Situated in the north of the department, a few kilometres from Nontron in the heart of the Périgord Vert, the pond of Saint Estèphe is a Sensitive Natural Space whose water is accessible to disabled people. This structure is labelled "Tourism and handicap" for the four handicaps.
It is a privileged place for the conservation, management and discovery of natural resources.
On this pond there is also a leisure base and fishing pontoons accessible to people with reduced mobility
Possibility of swimming on the equipped beach with surveillance during the summer (June, July and August). Free access.
The picnic area is a shady and friendly place, at the edge of the pond where it is possible to have a good meal, enjoying a unique view. A path meanders along the pond, inviting the whole family to an unforgettable walk under the oaks, between the water and the forest.
