Arriving in the heart of the village, the very small Saint-Léger church, whose first foundations date back to the 11th century and which was then restored in the 17th century, is just as charming. Finally, like five other communes of the "Pointe" (Charnois, Fromelennes, Chooz, Foisches and Givet), Rancennes is closely linked to the Pointe de Givet nature reserve, which covers an area of 354 hectares and offers a multi-faceted landscape of forests, dry grasslands, steep cliffs and spectacular escarpments cut by the Meuse river, an exceptional geological and biological heritage.
