After discovering the lathe in 2015, I opened my workshop in June 2016 at the foot of the Château de Montfort. I turned to the "terres sigillées", because this approach corresponds to my way of life. Indeed, to go and collect the earth in nature, to leave time to decant, then to reveal the final colour during firing, are so many steps that fascinate me.
Cooking in an electric oven, I smoke my pieces when cold. I place the pottery in a metal can, I light a fire; when the pieces are hot, I cover the fire. I also direct my work towards raku enamelling which, with this technique, gives delicate cracks. I use stoneware and earthenware. All my pieces are mounted on the lathe.
