Christine Waxweiler's creations are made in stoneware and fired at 1280°. She is very sensitive to material and color.
For many years, Christine Waxweiler has worked with old enamel recipes, which she has appropriated and revisited. She has directed this research towards her feelings, her emotions and her attraction to matter, the bubbling of masses. This orientation is highly personal, but gives rise to a new ceramic style.
Her pieces include sculptures (disks, cubes, etc.), wall panels and tableware such as yunomis, small cups and chawans.
