Culminating at an altitude of 1009m, the Donon offers a magnificent 360° panorama over the entire Vosges mountain range, from north to south. Mainly known for the reconstitution of a Roman temple on its summit, it is a sacred site which abounds in vestiges with a mystical character, a place of worship with numerous legends... It is also the place of Victor Hugo's conception
An unmissable landscape in the area, it is a popular place to visit and walk around. You will also enjoy it in winter with the numerous and magnificent cross-country ski and snowshoe trails on site.
