The building is only visible from the outside: 2-storey building on vaulted cellar, in pink sandstone. Admirable baroque portal in yellow sandstone, decorated with the statue of St. Francis (1769). Possibility to include it in a guided city tour. After the dissolution of the Saint-Etienne chapter in 1743, the Duke of Lorraine Stanislas authorized in 1749 the establishment of Franciscan récollet monks in Hombourg. These monks built a new convent next to the collegiate church and lived there until the Revolution. After the departure of the récollets, the building served as a rectory until 1997.
