The Musée des temps Barbares is a museum dedicated to the Merovingian era based on archaeological finds in a necropolis and a house from the 6th – 7th centuries. The museum, which is unique in France, is connected to a large archaeological park where the public can admire several life-size reconstructions of Merovingian houses. Events for the general public are regularly organized in Marles: "The Merovingian Days" and the Festival d'Histoire Vivante.
