This former Benedictine monastery is one of the most famous in Catalonia because of the architectural importance of this complex and because of the views it has over the entire Cap de Creus peninsula thanks to its privileged location.
The most special part of this monastery complex is the church, a unique masterpiece within the Catalan Romanesque style. It was built in the 10th and 11th centuries to accommodate pilgrims. Its great height and the decorative richness of the capitals and the portal make it a unique structure. Furthermore, the defensive tower and the bell tower stand out, as well as the two cloisters and the remains of a mural.
