Tour 18: Zandt - Schachendorf - Rissing - Dietersdorf - Altrandsberg - Miltach - Zandt

From Zandt, the tour leads towards Schachendorf. However, we turn left towards Ellersdorf and then left towards Rissing, a village with its own character. Old farmsteads, a small pond and an oven where baking still takes place form a beautiful whole. There is a cross stone from the Middle Ages at the southern exit of the village. We cycle through Frauenholz along the Haidbach stream to Weihermühle and then make our way uphill to Altrandsberg. Worth seeing: Altrandsberg Castle with its world art replica exhibition. From the castle grounds there is a wonderful view of the Perlbach valley. We cross the former railroad line to Miltach, from where we return to Zandt. The nature and adventure trail on the Kellerberg in Zandt invites children in particular to play and run around and learn lots of interesting facts about our natural environment. If you want to get to know alpacas up close, the best place to visit is the Früchtl family's alpaca farm "Grüne Au" with guided tours of the farm, alpaca hikes, farm store, ...
