Classic and skating; This trail is only one kilometer long and falls into the easy category. It has a total ascent of 30 meters and a difference in altitude of only 27 meters. After around 500 meters, it branches off to the right on the first ascent and leads through a newly created forest path to the forest road, where it branches off to the right and leads back to the starting point. This route is suitable for beginners or for sporty riders who want to improve their technique (Text: Karl Reitmeier). Together with the towns of Furth im Wald and Waldmünchen and the Czech region of Domažlicko, the Safety in Skiing Foundation (SIS) and the German Ski Association (DSV) have been working to develop the quality of the cross-country ski trail network in the Upper Bavarian Forest/Bohemian Forest in recent years. The trails have been certified as a cross-border DSV nordic active center according to international criteria, signposted with a uniform system and equipped with information boards.
