Hike through Husby

9.8 km - 2:00 h | Starting point: Parking lot at the train station, Husby

The route is patchily marked as a DVV hiking trail. From the parking lot, turn left into Schleswiger Straße and cross first the railroad tracks and then Flensburger Straße. You now walk along Glücksburger Straße and after approx. 350 m turn left into Norderfelder Straße. You enter the Feldmark and turn right at a bend onto a footpath lined with bends, which you follow to the outskirts of Gremmerup. Keep left here and then right at the next junction (Rüllschauer Weg). You are now on the village road and walk a short distance to the left and then turn right onto a narrow path. Keep right at the first fork and follow the tree-lined path. Continue to follow the signs. When you reach the gate, turn left. After passing the house on your right, turn right. You will come to a T-junction and turn right here. At the next fork in the road, keep left and follow the path until you reach the country road. Turn left and follow the sidewalk to the junction with the district road to Langballig. Cross the busy Kappelner Straße and turn into a forest path. In the forest, keep left at the fork and follow this path. As soon as you reach the asphalt road again, turn right onto it. Cross the main road and walk straight ahead to the left past the village pond until you reach Maigaard road. Turn left into this street, cross Lars-Hansen-Weg, turn left into the village park and cross the park. At the exit of the park, turn right into Schulstraße and continue along Amtsweg until you reach the main road again. Cross this road and turn into Schleswiger Straße to return to the starting point.
