At the starting point, the hiker's first view is of the imposing Schwarzenfels castle complex with the village leaning against the Hopfenberg below. The circular route around the wooded heights of the Escheberg opens up wide views of the heights of the Spessart and the Rhön. The circular tour leads back to the starting point on narrow forest paths and meadow trails.
