On the leisurely walk from Zwieslerwaldhaus to the Schwellhäusl excursion restaurant, the path is almost flat along the Schwellgraben, which was once part of a drift system for transporting wood. At the rustic Schwellhäusl, you can stop for a bite to eat and there is a playground.
On the way back, you pass through the Hans-Watzlik-Hain primeval forest relict area. Here you will also find the largest fir tree in the Bavarian Forest, the Waldhaustanne, with a height of over 50 meters.
