In Torfhaus, tobogganers have it easier, because a special attraction is the toboggan lift "Brockenblick" with floodlights. This means that tobogganers no longer have to walk uphill with their sled, as the practical toboggan lift takes care of that. Thanks to the floodlights, sledding fun can now be extended into the evening with sufficient snow cover and suitable weather. Please note the advance notice!

The toboggan lift is located right next to the large parking lot on Bundesstraße 4 next to the National Park Visitor Center. A wide slope here invites you to go sledding.

Sleds are attached to tow ropes, on which tobogganers are pulled up the slope, while they pull their own sled behind them. Simply practical! At the exit point, you then step off the lift sled, which is automatically pulled up by the lift and is ready for the next ride. The sledding fun for young and old now begins with the 300 m long descent.

Sleds can also be rented at the toboggan lift ticket office (valley station). A reservation is not necessary, except for groups.
