Canoe tour on the Kyritzer Untersee

The Kyritzer chain of lakes and the surrounding landscape were shaped by the last Ice Age. Consisting of Lake Bantikow and Lake Klempow, the Kyritzer Lower Lake extends for a length of 7.5 km and a width of 200 to 400 meters as a narrow channel from the Kyritz residential area of Stolpe in the north to the town of Wusterhausen/Dosse at its southern end.
In the middle of the lake lies the idyllic Lower Lake Island, which can be reached by ferry from Bantikow and the Kyritz Waldkolonie.
The Kyritzer Lower Lake is set in a beautiful mixed forest landscape. The lake appears untouched due to the reed growth and is home to numerous aquatic animals that you can observe on your tour.
Two beach resorts in Kyritz and Wusterhausen/Dosse as well as tranquil natural bathing spots invite you to refresh yourself in the cool water. Food is also available.
