Between Olsberg and Brilon

This tour starts at the tourist information in Olsberg. Initially, the bike route leads towards Eisenberg, where you can also visit the Phillipsstollen. In the 18th century, the Sauerland was a significant mining district. Visitors can experience firsthand how laborious the miners extracted iron ore underground in the Philippstollen.
You continue through the Olsberg mountains and pass directly by the Hiebammen Hütte. Here, both hikers from the Rothaarsteig and cyclists stop for a hearty rest.
Now you descend to Brilon, where the old town with the historic town hall invites you to linger. On the marketplace, you can fortify yourself for the continuation of the journey thanks to the various gastronomic offers.
The next kilometers follow the cycle path to Altenbüren and from there back to Olsberg via Antfeld. The last stretch of the tour leads upstream along the RuhrtalRadweg back to the starting point of the tour.
