On this tour, you hike mainly along the dam circular trail and the Vogtland Panorama Trail from the landing stage of the Pöhl dam passenger boat service through the Elster Valley to the Herrmann falconry.
You will pass the Pöhl Dam water sports center with its large playground, the **** Gunzenberg campsite, as well as the Lochbauer and the Paffengut environmental and nature conservation center in Plauen. There are also various restaurants along the way where you can stop for a bite to eat.
The tour becomes a real highlight if you combine the hike with a boat trip across the Pöhl dam and a subsequent visit to the Herrmann falconry.
