Via Porphyria - Pilgern im Land des Roten Porphyr

It invites you to get to know the history of the region with its very own culture, spiritual roots and traditions. The association "Kirche im Land des Roten Porphyr e.V." (Church in the Land of Red Porphyry) has created a supra-regional pilgrimage route to highlight the special features of each of the large and small churches in the Land of Red Porphyry. If you follow in its footsteps, you will not only get to know the buildings themselves, but also different eras of industrial development and, of course, the charming landscapes. The pilgrimage route connects sacred buildings, places of worship and tranquillity, as well as cultural-historical, cultural-technical and tourist gems in the region.
