In addition to churches and chapels, there is also the beautiful view of the Alps.
The starting point is the historic village square. We visit the parish church of St. Martin, which was built in 1765-1766 in the Baroque style by J. G. Specht. On the way to Eglofstal are the Marienkapelle chapel and the Lourde Grotto. Pilgrims from Eglofs brought the idea of a place of prayer from the pilgrimage site in the south of France in 1912. Once in the valley, we head towards Mühlbolz and up to Hummelberg. We reach the 19th century court chapel. There is an older statue of the Virgin Mary in the baroque columned altar. Shortly before Aschen, we make a short detour to the Bühl chapel. In Reute, we enjoy the wonderful panoramic view over the Alpine foothills. Back in Eglofs, the Schuhmichel fountain commemorates Michael Netzer, an original from Megletz.
