Bonndorfer Rundweg "Kaien"

The Bonndorf "Kaien" circular trail is an ideal summer hike for hot days, as most of the route leads through the forest.
The loop begins at the hiking parking lot at the end of Bonndorf in the direction of Ludwigshafen. Shortly before the Bonndorf village fountain, turn right and follow the main road past the Bonndorf church. After a bend to the right, you will see the Bonndorf storks on the right-hand side. Directly opposite, you should now gather your strength and dare to climb the Kaien.
From the village, the road is still asphalted and turns into a dirt track after approx. 800 meters - halfway up. Following the hiking trail signs, the route continues through the forest until it joins a better developed dirt track. Now you have reached the Kaien at 682m, where hikers are rewarded with a magnificent view and idyllic atmosphere. The route then leads back to Bonndorf along shady forest paths.
