Beautiful beer trail with great nature and village scenery

From the bus stop at the Herbsthäuser brewery, take the "Der Sportive" cycle path southwards for a short distance, then westwards through open fields to Rot (beautiful rural village scenery, half-timbered houses, chapel on the edge of the village). There is a small lake with a rest area above Rot.

After the village of Rot, the hiking trail leads along the Wachbach stream through meadows to the reservoir. It then continues through a small forest to Dörtel. In Dörtel, you continue along the Wachbach stream to the end of the village.

From there, the trail leads in a south-easterly direction up to the parking lot on Kaiserstraße. After crossing Kaiserstraße, the paved path leads into the forest and to the Hubertushütte hut with a lovely rest area. From there, the hike continues in a south-westerly direction through Hochwald, Gewann "Kammerforst" to the B290. After crossing the B290, you pass the water tower and return to the Herbsthäuser brewery - the starting point of the circular hiking trail.
