Radtour am Wasser entlang hinauf zur Bodensee-Wasserversorgung

The somewhat more challenging tour up to the Lake Constance water supply is easy to manage on an e-bike. After a section along the shores of Lake Constance, the circular tour leads from Ludwigshafen into the charming surrounding countryside and up to Sipplinger Berg to the Lake Constance water supply.

Fantastic views, bathing spots and numerous places to stop for refreshments are a constant companion.

The route initially takes cyclists on a flat section from Überlingen Landungsplatz to the west. Passing the Bodensee-Therme thermal baths, Strandbad West and numerous Überlingen parks such as the Badgarten, the Stadtgarten, the villa gardens and the Uferpark, which was newly created for the 2021 State Garden Show, the route heads out of the town towards Sipplingen. Before continuing to Ludwigshafen, the lido invites you to take a refreshing dip in Lake Constance.In Ludwigshafen, you leave the shores of Lake Constance. While the Lake Constance cycle path branches off to the left after crossing the railroad tracks, this tour continues straight ahead along Sernatinger Straße. After a short section on the main road, the cycle path signs lead left via Johannes-Hügelin-Weg and Mühlbachstraße back onto the main road. The next section meanders along the Schwäbische-Alb-Weg to the heights of Sipplinger Berg.

Following the road, you cross the main road 31. If you like, turn right at the next fork in the path and stop for a break at the Höhengasthaus Haldenhof, where you can enjoy the magnificent view. Otherwise, the path continues to the left to the Lake Constance water supply.

Past the Sielmann pond in the Nesselwanger Ried, the tour leads to the Überlingen district of Hödingen and on via Goldbach back to Überlingen.
