Der ZweiTälerSteig im Schwarzwald

The ZweiTälerSteig was named "Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2019" by the hiking magazine. It takes you to the most beautiful and pristine corners of the Elz and Simonswäldertal valleys. The first three days will challenge you physically: rocks, gorges and waterfalls, narrow paths in a tight zigzag. The last two days bring peace to your soul: changing views, easy paths, gentle climbs.

The trail changes you. You find distance and balance from everyday life. The immense beauty of nature and the hospitality of the people will open you and your heart. Come on!

The ZweiTälerSteig leads to high points and vantage points such as the Kandel, the pilgrims' chapel on the Hörnleberg, the pristine Rohrhardsberg or the elongated mountain ridge from Höhenhäuser down to Waldkirch, where the changing distant views are addictive. To natural beauties such as the sparkling Zweribach waterfalls, the wild and romantic Teichschlucht gorge or the mighty Huberfelsen rock. To lovely landscapes, such as the sunny meadow valleys with their gurgling streams in the rear Elz valley or the mosaic of forest and meadows on the gently curving ridges of the western Steig. And, of course, the friendly people of the ZweiTälerLand region, who have retained their open and welcoming nature to this day.
