Through forest and valley to the capital of spring water: Spa

The start of this route is outside Spa to be able to have a stopover in Spa , but of course you can just as well start in Spa, but then you will not find a stopping point. Spa is definitely worth a visit. This walk only visits a few sights, but it is worth exploring Spa in more detail. See the many sights.

We start at an altitude of 360m and it remains flat until we dive 120 meters down at 'Aux Digues' to the river Rau de Chawion.

It now rises slightly; we pass the Etang de Chawion and turn right a little further in Maraifgne. We now continue to ascend to the original height up to the cemetery of Spa near the Thermen.

We arrive at a viewpoint with a beautiful view over Spa. It now goes steeply downhill to the city.

In Spa we walk through the Parc des 7 heures and walk past the old thermal baths, the Casino and the Peter the Great and Pierre Condé source to the Cascade Monumentale.

Now a short but steep climb of about 100 vertical meters awaits us, which brings us back to the plateau.

Open field and forest alternate on this asphalt road that takes us past the Royal Golf Club des fagnes .

We return to the starting point via a country road .
