This classicist style construction stands out for its elegance and simplicity
In 1079, a document mentions the existence of a parish under the diocese of Liège for the first time. The parish is dedicated to Saint Lambertus , bishop of Liège (died between 705 and 714). From the Middle Ages, only the damaged Romanesque baptismal fonts remain, which are now in the wall of the church.
In 1738, the abbot of Saint-Hubert, Celestin de Jonghe, apparently had the new church built on the same site.
It contains rich furniture from the 18th century. There is also a large Christ from the 16th century, choir stalls with carved misericords (16th century?), two 16th century statues including a Saint Lambert with his murderers and finally a modern work from 1938-40 , a station of the cross in brass work by Joseph Gillain (1913-1980), better known as Jijé.
