This burial chapel of the Maere d'Aertrycke family is accessible from the castle park via the poplar avenue .
The chapel is located on a hill planted with rhododendrons. Access to the chapel, which juts out from the surrounding meadow, is via steps.
Inside, the altar stands out with the painted image of the family coat of arms. There is also a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. The interior and painting were restored in 1996 . The stained glass windows , damaged by World War I and vandalism, were restored in 1998.
