The Saint-Vincent de Braibant church is located at the foot of the Place de Genay.
The church is in the Romanesque Renaissance style and dates from 1871-1872. It was built to the plans of the architect Luffin de Bouvignes .
It has three naves and is illuminated by 12 modern stained glass windows.
Did you know that: In 1796, the entry of births, baptisms , ... in the church registers of the churches was stopped in all parishes. This was taken over by the registry office. But in Braibant the church records cover a much longer period . The post-concordat rector recorded baptisms, marriages, and deaths performed in secret during the religious persecution of the register. And that lasted until 1836. Why 1836? Maybe because the priest I'm talking about, François Martin Burton, died that year... .
