More than 100 sources in Brussels !
Although not an actual source in the strict sense, the end of the concrete pipe is the point where the watercourse comes to the surface, after an underground course of 200 m from the original source. The headwaters of this stream, the name of which we do not know, were indeed piped in the 70s. The rust colour of the water testifies to the ferrous subsoil. Further on, this stream feeds a pond, and a second... where the people of Brussels may one day be able to swim.
