The boats of vzw de BOOT are located on the Ypres-Yser Canal on the Driegrachtenbrug in Merkem. This idyllic place is a recreational hub between the cities of Ypres (14 km) and Diksmuide (10 km) and the municipalities of Houthulst (10 km) and Lo-Reninge (8 km). By bike, solar boat or canoe, on foot, by covered wagon or by mule, the region can be explored from here. The BOOT is equipped with a bar. Cyclists and hikers can use their picnic on board and buy detailed hiking and cycling maps.
