The Poaching Forest also has a rich cultural-historical past. One of the most striking remains is undoubtedly the reconstruction of a piece of the Bedmar line. It was built by the Marquis of Bedmar in 1702 as a defense during the War of the Franco-Spanish Succession. The line consists of a moat with a defensive wall behind it. This was repaired over a short distance of 35 meters. A bat path leads to the reconstruction which is also accessible for wheelchair users.
