This mansion, hidden in the heart of the city, is dedicated to the art of puppetry in all its forms. The collection, consisting of 2500 items, ranges from traditional to contemporary puppets from all over the world. New puppets are acquired every year, making each visit to this centre a unique experience. Activities are focused on 3 central themes: creation (with the “Créa-théâtre”), promotion and the Museum of Puppetry. The Puppet Centre organises exhibitions, educational events and shows, training courses, classes, festivals,... and regularly publishes articles and documents. Adults can come and enjoy a puppet performance once a month on Friday, and children are treated to a show once a month on Sunday.
