Angerik is a microbrewery founded in 1997 by Erik Decuyper. Only top-fermented beers are produced. Gravity is used for beer production, just as was the case in old breweries. The installation is superimposed and no pumps are used. Only Belgian hops from Erembodegem and Belgian malt are used. Herbs such as coriander are added to Boerke Amber, the characteristic taste of Boerke Donker comes from the roasted malts. Each brew is 10 hl in size. The Krieken Boerke is brewed 1 to 2 times a year, depending on the cherry harvest. For the beer, real Schaerbeek cherries from Erik Decuyper's orchard are used. The production of this beer is very limited.
