In the thirteenth century, Cistercian sisters founded an abbey in the Nete Valley. For five centuries, monastic life flourished there. After the French Revolution, the domain evolved into a beautiful country estate with landscape park. Today Roosendael is the ideal setting for group stays, training sessions, meetings, parties, soft team building activities, etc. Young and old(er), youth work, schools, associations, families, families, recreationists and companies enjoy the hospitality that has characterized this place for 800 years.
Kempens Landschap vzw has already restored many buildings, including the 'pest house' close to the Neteoever.
Domain Roosendael is centrally located on the Antwerp-Brussels axis close to Mechelen.
