St. Nicholas Church is the church of Messines, in the Belgian province of West Flanders. It was part of the abbey of Mesen.De church until 1776 and is notable for the domed top of the tower, which is nicknamed "Fathead". Under the choir of the church is a Romanesque crypt from the 11th century. This crypt is the burial place of Adela van Mesen and has been a protected monument since 1939. A copper chandelier was made and donated by the blacksmith Otto Meyer, a German artilleryman who was grateful to have survived the Second Battle of Messines.
